“WLTL Presents: Josie Dunne” 7pm CT on Monday, April 29, 2019. The self-documentary radio special covered her school years to her April 2019 release “Same”. Josie Dunne is a 2015 grad of Lyons Township High School in suburban Chicago. During her high school years, she began flying to Nashville for writing sessions with various producers and co-writers. Josie signed with Warner/Chappell Music publishing in 2014. Along with writing well over a hundred songs, the Atlantic recording artist released the EP “To Be The Little Fish” June 2018. Also during her high school years, Josie was a DJ at WLTL hosting Mondays 3-5pm.

In 2019, Josie toured with Ben Rector Magic: The Tour and Julia Michaels: Inner Monologue Tour. Dunne also opened for Kesha in March 2019. Josie returned to Chicago with Julia Michaels Sunday, April 28, 2019 at The House Of Blues. The radio self-documentary aired the day after.

Fun Fact: Josie’s little brother Beecher helped design part of the website’s “Hit Mute Game”

Josie collaborated with Sperry (boat shoes) and Zappos for Good (community organization) to design a shoe made from recycled water bottles collected from the ocean. Marine conservation is something Josie is passionate about and puts her spin on a shoe that’s helping this cause.
